Staging & Décor

Wedding and mehndi stage hire

Stages designed around you, for your wedding, mehndi, baraat or walima: your colours, your venue and the moment everyone will remember.

Complete mehndi stage with hot pink, yellow and sage drapes, a full pink and yellow floral arch, pom-pom garlands, a linen bench with paisley cushions and embroidered parasols

The stage is where your guests' eyes go first and where most of your photographs will be taken, whether it's an ivory and red baraat stage, a vibrant mehndi setting or an elegant wedding reception. We design each stage from scratch, starting with your colour palette, the size and shape of your venue, and how you want the room to feel when you walk in.

Most of our stages use a layered backdrop: a full-height back panel with a shorter front panel set in front of it. This adds depth and gives us room to build in florals, drapes, lighting and signage without the stage feeling crowded. Every element is agreed with you in writing before the day, so the stage you see is the stage you approved.

The details

What a stage can include

Every design is bespoke. These are some of the elements we can bring together for you.

  • Layered backdrops

Draped fabric, sequin walls or fairy-light curtains, with straight, swagged, ruched or tied-back drapes.

  • Florals and greenery

Garlands across the top, cascading down the sides, or a full floral wall in the palette you choose.

  • Seating and styling

Benches or sofas, runners, scatter cushions, rugs, vases, lanterns and side florals.

  • Signage and monograms

Names, initials, a monogram or a mehndi sign built into the backdrop design.

  • Stage lighting

Fairy lights, chandeliers or lanterns to lift the stage once the room lights go down.

  • Walkway

An aisle or walkway leading guests' eyes to the stage. See our event décor page for options.

Before you enquire

Planning your stage

A few details help us give you the most useful advice and an accurate quote. How booking works.

  1. 01

    Bring your inspiration

Screenshots, colour swatches and outfit colours all help. Mehndis often suit bold colour, baraats and receptions softer tones; we'll shape your ideas into a design that works in your venue.

  2. 02

    Share your venue details

Room size, ceiling height, where the stage will sit, and whether power is available nearby all affect the design.

  3. 03

    Agree the final design

We record the confirmed design, covering backdrop, florals, seating, lighting and layout, so the team builds exactly what you approved.

FAQs

Common questions

Can you match the stage to my outfit or theme colours?

Yes. Colour is usually the first thing we talk about. Share your outfit colours or a palette and we'll plan fabrics, florals and lighting around them.

Do you set up and collect the stage?

Yes. We agree set-up and collection times with you and your venue in advance, then our team builds the stage before your guests arrive and collects everything afterwards.

Can you style a mehndi in a marquee or at home?

Yes. Tell us about the space when you enquire. We'll check access, the space available and power, and suggest a design that fits. We also offer marquees if you need one.

Can I book dhol players and a DJ for my mehndi?

Yes. Entertainment can be booked alongside your stage, and we coordinate timings so everything runs as one plan.

How do I secure my date?

Your booking is confirmed once we receive your signed quote (or written confirmation) and a non-refundable booking deposit (£75 for stages, backdrops and signage; £100 per service for lighting, entertainment and other add-ons). Until then the date is not held. A separate, refundable £75 Damage Deposit also applies to every booking. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Can you provide insurance documents for my venue?

Yes. We hold public liability insurance with cover up to £5,000,000, and proof of insurance is available on request for venues that require it.
